1. To make an appointment you will have to login to our client portal located under Client Portal Information under the Services tab.
2. What is therapy? Therapy is a conversation but you must be willing to have hard conversations in order to work on what brings you to therapy.
3. Why therapy? Talking or venting to friends can be great. We all need people to talk to but when you come into our office this is your safe space to have a 100% attention focused on you from a nonjudgmental objective professional. We provide valuable tools to empower clients to create more ease, joy, wellbeing, and purpose in their lives.
4. What type of clients are NOT a good match for us? Our work with clients are a collaborative experience. It takes both of us doing our work to move you forward for maximal results. Clients who only wish to complain and are unmotivated to make changes will not be a good fit.
5. What type of clients do we serve best? We work with children, teens, young adults, adults, and aging adults.
6. Sessions are typically 50 minutes but there are other available times that can be adjusted to your needs.
7. Confidentiality will be discussed before your first session.
8. Clients are expected to pay before or right after session.
9. Cancelation policy: Clients are expected to cancel 24 hours in advance or they can incur a late/cancelation fee.
10. Payment options: We currently take Blue Cross Blue Shield but will soon be credentialed with other major insurances. We also take cash, credit card, or electronic payments such as Zelle (working on Apple Pay). We do offer sliding scale fee to clients that are unable to pay for services.
11. If experiencing a crisis (threatening to harm oneself or harm another individual, abuse or neglect), it is best to contact 911 or go to the nearest emergency room/hospital. You can also use the Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255, for all types of crises.
