At Ascension Therapy Services, we believe cost should never be a barrier to care. We want you to know what to expect before your first session, so here is a clear overview of our fees, insurance, and payment options.
We are in-network with the following insurance providers:
• Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
• Cigna
• Aetna
Coverage varies by plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first appointment to confirm your mental health benefits, including any copay, coinsurance, or deductible you may be responsible for. You are responsible for any amount your insurance does not cover.
If you prefer not to use insurance, or if we are not in-network with your plan, self-pay sessions are typically $100–$150, based on household income.
We offer a reduced sliding scale fee, usually $75 per session, for clients who qualify. Please ask us about eligibility. We're happy to talk it through with you confidentially.
• Cash
• Electronic transfer
• Zelle
• Cash App
• Venmo
• Money order
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Appointments that are missed or canceled with less than [24 hours] notice will be charged a $100 fee. Insurance companies do not cover missed appointments, so this fee is the client's responsibility.
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost if you are uninsured or not using insurance. You can ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or payment, please contact us at 331-274-3842 or by infoascensiontherapyservice@gmail.com. We're glad to help.
